How early can you check in for Allegiant flights
The Airlines provides you three methods to do the check-in for your flights. From these three options you can choose any one method and can do the check-in.
- Check-in through online
- Through Allegiant Air Mobile Application
- At the Airport ticket counter

What is the last time I can check-in for my Allegiant flight
It is recommended to arrive at the Airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure time, so that you can easily do the check-in without any stress through the Airport security check-in and at the boarding gate, you need to be present at least 1 hour before your flight schedule time.
All the check-in options get disabled 45 minutes from the time of departure of Allegiant Airlines. So, it is suggested to complete the check-in process at least one hour before the flight departure time. In case, if you fail to do the check-in for your flight within the time limits, your booking may get cancelled by the Airlines.
- Online Check-in
When you wish to do the check-in through online, you are allowed to do 24 hours prior from the time of departure until 45 minutes before your flight departure and to do the check in online, you need to give some information like your first and surname and the booking reference number that you had received when you had purchased flight ticket from Allegiant Airlines.
Process
- A seat can be selected by you during the time of purchasing the flight ticket of Allegiant Airlines with a minimum fee of $0 to $80 for selecting a seat. When you are travelling with family, ensure that you sit together with your family. Also, you can book extra legroom seats so that you and your family can fly comfortably. The Airlines also allow you to select after purchasing the ticket from the option Manage my travel. If you don’t purchase your seats, the Airline will automatically assign your seat, at no costs, during the online check-in and if you wish to change your travel plan you can easily change it through manage travel before completing the check-in process.
- When you do online check-in, you can also verify for bags or add baggage to your itinerary. There is an option for you to pay for your luggage before reaching the airport and the fees for the luggage is cheaper if you pay it online.
- Mobile check in
Checking can be done through the mobile application of Allegiant Airlines. The mobile application of Allegiant Air allows you to other things like:
- You can access your upcoming trips.
- Upgrade to priority boarding.
- Check-in online.
- You can also login to your account to download your boarding pass.
- The Airlines also allow you to buy and track their deals.
- You can also redeem your purchase deals directly on your device.
- Check in at Allegiant Counter
There are some passengers who are not allowed to do the check-in online especially when they are flying with their pet. In this situation, the passenger has to reach the airline counter on time to do the check-in process and then only the boarding pass will be issued. After the passengers reach the Airport, they need to locate the ticket counter of Allegiant Air and the passengers are required to provide a government issued ID card with a photo.
